Youth Basketball League- Your child will learn the basic fundamentals of basketball followed by game play situations and actual game play.
Grades K-6
One on One Basketball Training- We offer one-on-one basketball training, focusing on skills, drills, and calisthenics designed to improve your child’s overall game. Each session is an hour. Ages 7-15
Parent/Tot Basketball– You and your child will have a great experience as you learn/develop good motor skill and Basketball fundamentals. Ages 2-5

Starting January 14 - May 31, 2012, Sue Clarks photography show "True Grit," will be exhibited at Samuels, in Alplaus. Sue specializes in the American West and Equine experience.Her work has been juried national shows, including the Hubbard Museum of the American West. Come see gorgeous, framed prints of WWII Navajo Code Talkers, Tombstone cowboys, competition horse women, wild horses, and more! Quiet lap-top location, Wi-Fi availability, TV, breakfast sandwiches, baked goods, gourmet coffee, lattes, juices, small hometown atmosphere. Bring a date/friend/family!

Thursdays - Sundays. Explore energy, electricity generation and efficiency with Museum educators at this new program developed by the Franklin Institute and the Penn State Center for Nanoscale Science, a Materials Research Science and Engineering Center supported by a National Science Foundation grant. These interactive demonstrations rely on audience participation and use manipulatives, providing an interactive learning opportunity. FREE with Museum admission.

An Evening of Fine Fare and Merriment at Jacob Mabee's Inn

The Mabee Farm in Rotterdam Junction is hosting this year's Colonial Festival Dinner, featured event of Schenectady Heritage Area's annual Schenectady Colonial Festival. Participants will go back to the late 1700s to Jacob Mabee's Inn. They will meet frequent guests traveling the Mohawk River, military leaders, soldiers, Indian traders, merchants, bateau men and land speculators, along with members of the Mabee Family and their household - all with stories to tell. Dr. Charles Gehring will introduce "Light on New Netherland," an exhibit including colonial Schenectady.
